The ISHPSSB 2011 SLC poster was designed by local artist Travis Bone. Evocative of Utah and the Mountain West, it prominently features a Utahceratops.

Utahceratops

Led by researchers from the Utah Museum of Natural History (a sponsor) and University of Utah Department of Geology and Geophysics, Utahceratops was recently discovered in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (just a few hours drive from Salt Lake City). Along with Kosmoceratops richardsoni, Utahceratops gettyi was named in a September 2010 PLoS paper. Learn more by visiting UMNH's announcement of the discoveries.

Travis Bone is a Salt Lake City poster artist, especially well regarded for his concert prints. A limited run of hand-screened, signed and numbered 20" x 28" prints of the poster will be available to purchase at $15. To order a print, please indicate the number you'd like to purchase at the check out section of the registration page. Visit Travis' website, www.furturtle.com, to view more of his impressive work.

In addition to posters, t-shirts will also be available for purchase ($15) through the registration page. Tentatively, they will have a small conference logo with reflecting letters (seen at the top of this page) on the front left breast, with a large image of the Utahceratops design on the back.

All registrants will receive a branded metal water bottle upon registration check-in. We plan to provide water filling stations for these bottles. This allows us to avoid the use of disposable water bottles or cups.
